Museum Exhibition 1987
The Embroiderers’ Guild of South Australia Museum collection includes many beautiful and interesting embroideries – they give a glimpse of other lands, a nostalgic view of the past, and an opportunity to learn about embroidery styles and techniques.
This was a first and a last exhibition – the first time that an exhibition of the Guild’s own embroideries had been held, and the last exhibition to be held in our much-loved cottage at Unley.
