Physical Description
A petticoat with broderie anglaise embroidery. The five-gored petticoat has a draw tape at the waist. A very wide front panel is embroidered full lenth. Other panels are embroidered to a depth of 26cm from the hem. The garment has been rather roughly made up with unfinished single seams and an uneven hem. It may have been remade from an earlier garment.
