Physical Description
A white 'bed sheet' of hand-woven linen with a deep border along the length worked in the style of Sicilian cut and drawn work with motifs including birds, flowers, flower pots, dogs and star shapes. Such sheets were purely decorative and were tucked beneath the mattress with the decorative border hanging down.
