Physical Description
The perforated card (Bristol board) covers of the needle book have been embroidered in cross stitch in silks of soft tan and green colours with repeat patterns including flowers on the front and acorns on the back. The covers are lined with pale turquoise moire silk. The edges and back are bound with a deeper turquoise silk ribbon which is also used as ties. The four flannel pages have been cut with decorative scalloped edges and a pattern of small round holes. Eleven needles are still in place.
