Physical Description
A yellow linen cloth with a 3.5cm hem it is framed behind glass. The hem is decorated with red bullion stitch at regular intervals. The signatures are stitched in red and are scattered all over the cloth. Heavy staining in the lower right corner.
Theme and Purpose
Commemorative. Cowell. It is believed that the cloth was signed by farming communities served by the Home Missionary based in Cowell between the period 1910 to 1914.
