Physical Description
Cream linen tablecloth. Multicoloured embroidered signatures. Predominantly stem stitch. Some running stitches. 6-7cm hem. The hem contains information on various anniversaries and significant events of the Peterborough CWA as listed below. Some signatures have a date next to them but it is possible that that was the date they were stitched or it may have been the date that the person held office in the CWA. The earliest date recorded on the cloth is 1958.
