Physical Description
Pillow sham and pillowcase. a. White straw/ramie? pillow sham covered in whitework. There are two large Chinese characters in the centre. They are bordered by two rectangular drawn thread borders with needleweaving and a further border of satin stitched stylised flowers has been worked between the drawn thread borders. All worked in white silk. b. Pillowcase which appears to have once been attached to the pillow sham.
