Physical Description
Red and black, satin and cotton Hmong baby's hat. Contruction includes stepped, open holes at the nape of the neck and 2 straight elongations finished with rough tacking stitches. Lined with coarse handwoven indigo dyed cotton fabric. The applied patches are decorated with geometric green and yellow embroidered designs and there are some applied strips and couching. Stitches include broad chain, chain and double running. Cotton thread.
