Physical Description
Cream silk gauze handkerchief embroidered with 'Souvenir of France' enclosing a corner motif of a spray of two pink flowers with green stems and leaves using silk thread. There is a 2.5cm cotton bobbin lace edge. The handkerchief is outlined, inside the lace edging, with a simple, scalloped, dark green chain stitched border. Chain stitch is used for the text and floral motifs.
