Physical Description
Cream handwoven cotton hand towel with embroidered bands at each end in beige and brown silk thread. Some metallic thread. Each band consists of three alternating stylised trees and two houses which look like they are on a hill. A narrow stepped border has been worked in cream silk at the very end of each towel. Stitches include turkish two-sided stitch (Musabak Stitch), satin and double running stitch.
