Physical Description
Cream handwoven cotton trouser panel with two alternating embroidered bands. Five bands have a stylised repeat geometric or floral motif and the other four bands have repeat motifs of stylised foliage all worked in cream silk. Above the buttonhole and bullion knot edge on the bottom end is a narrow band of foliage within arcades. Other stitches include Turkish two-sided stitch (Musabak stitch), satin stitch, cross stitch and hemstitch.
