Physical Description
Two Han style end pieces for a wedding bed bolster. The rounded ends are worked on red satin fabric, backed and stiffened. Long and short stitch, multicoloured silk embroidery. Design on one end is a stylised bird (a) with foliage and the other is a floral spray (b). Laid work and satin stitch.
