Physical Description
Towel end from Argyrokastro, a town in northern Epirus showing typical needlework worked on fine cotton with coloured silk in half cross stitch and double running with silver thread. Floral decoration covers triangular corners with cypress tree (tree of life) surrounded by three birds.
