Physical Description
Canvas work cushion cover in raised squares with black centres and corners stitched with wool threads worked on fawn background. A central red square surrounds a smaller fawn square in similar stitches with a pile surface. The cushion cover is worked in a technique using layers of herringbone stitches which are then cut giving a tapered cut pile.
