Physical Description
A Syrian man's hat of purple satin weave fabric quilted on stiffened base. The crown of the hat is embroidered in rings of satin stitch in alternate triangles of gold metal thread and multicoloured wools. Small gold thread embroidered motifs on side and red and green herringbone bands.
