Physical Description
A Burmese wall hanging (Kalaga) of black cotton fabric backed with beige cotton, heavily embroidered with beads and handmade sequins and thickly couched cotton. Two heavily padded appliquéd and embroidered figures enclosed in circles of glass beads. A border of sequins and beads alternating with couched threads in colours of oranges, purples, yellow and brown. Six brass rings are attached at the top edge for hanging.
