Physical Description
Embroidery from the Hmong people in Thailand. Rectangular piece of bright pink synthetic fabric. A 4.25cm wide centre panel is completely covered with a variety of small symbols in multicolours. Some are over white fabric appliqué. Worked in chain stitch, satin stitch and running stitch. The panel is edged with two rows of S scrolls laid horizontally and edged with narrow bands of blue, pink and black.
