Physical Description
Cream silk cushion cover embroidered in surface stitchery in a pictorial design of birds under flowering shrubs, tree and butterflies. The colours are gold, cream, magenta and green worked on cream satin ground fabric and backed, envelope style, with cream silk. The corners of the square cushion have been rounded. Probably late 19th, early 20th century Chinese.
