Physical Description
A plaster case made of embroidered perforated card (Bristol board). The case is made of five pieces - a central octagonal base piece with four long and four short sides with a flap attached to each long side to fold over and encase the plasters. Each piece is edged with light blue silk ribbon. One flap is embroidered with the initials 'MEA' and one with '1888' both in cross stitch embroidery. The base is embroidered in double running with the verse:"Go little caseThy kind assistance lendTo heal the wounded finger of my friend"
