Physical Description
A Hmong story cloth depicting the flight from Laos across the Mekong River. The upper portion shows the people working in the fields with soldiers with guns and aeroplanes dropping bombs. Across the centre are the people swimming across the river and the lower section shows the refugee camp with guards. The embroidery is worked in surface stitchery on dark blue cotton with a border of grey and white cotton.
