Physical Description
Woman's bonnet of fine white cotton, embroidered in white work with fine needlemade fillings. The bonnet is constructed of six pieces. A narrow central back strip is joined on either side by a wide strip which is, in turn, gathered into the sides of the bonnet which are roughly triangular in shape. The whole is surrounded by a single piece which forms the brim and tapers away to join at the back, The pieces are joined by a very fine seam of openwork and buttonhole stitch.
