Physical Description
A pouch shaped drawstring bag in canvas work. The ground is a fine evenweave canvas in off- white colour. It is worked in wool and silk in tent stitch, cross stitch and straight stitches. Each side of the bag has a different central motif of single roses in reds, greens and yellows. The outer border is worked in black in imitation of lace. The bag is lined with pale grey silk satin and edged with a red cord. The drawstrings are two red cords threaded through small brass rings stitched inside of the top edge of the bag.
