Physical Description
A white linen baby's bonnet with a double brim. A roundel and panel of Hollie Point lace is inserted in the back. The gathers at the back have been held in place with two rows of stem stitch. The hand sewing is extremely fine. The fabric would have been hand-woven from hand-spun yarn. Dated between 1700 and 1725.
