Physical Description
A man's smoking cap in plum coloured velvet with black quilted cotton lining. Embroidered around sides and top with sprays of rose buds and forget-me-nots in green, blue, pink and gold variegated threads in straight and stem stitches. There is a 4cm diameter button on top made from a wooden mould covered with blue and green silks in a star pattern. A tassel of green and blue silk threads is held by the button.
