Physical Description
Sewing box and tools. A cardboard box with lid and fastened with a metal catch. The handle is made of two loops. Covered with artificial leather with a pre-federation Australian Coat-of-Arms printed on the lid. The box is lined with self-patterned purple paper. The box is divided into seven compartments and contains four rings (1.5 cm), one thimble, one small reel of black cotton, three packets of needles - egg eyed sharps 5 and 7 and double long.
