A set of three round linen mats all of the same design but each worked slightly differently with appliqué on white linen. a. Green leaves and flowers applied with buttonhole stitching. Green around the leaves and yellow around the petals with orange centres. Small areas of cut work. b. Cream mat with green linen leaves and yellow flowers, buttonhole around the leaves in green and around the petals in yellow. Has no cutwork. c. Cream mat with green linen leaves and yellow flowers, buttonhole around the leaves in green and around the petals in yellow. Small areas of cutwork as in 'a'.
