Physical Description

A white cotton christening robe trimmed with machine embroidered broderie anglaise edging and insertion, handmade Valenciennes lace and cream satin ribbon. The dress is princess line with robings on either side of the front panel which consists of alternating insertions of lace and broderie threaded with cream satin ribbon. Rows of hand worked dot stitch edge the broderie insertions and robings and at the neck and waist. The robe is labelled 'Hibernia Trade Mark - Hand Made'.
