Physical Description
Black sateen appliquéd mantelpiece valance (lambrequin) with a black cotton backing. The design is of four deep red velveteen tacoma (?) flowers and three buds and green velveteen leaves. The leaf veins are embroidered in green and the stems in gold coloured thread. The flower centres are worked with yellow chenille and gold thread. The lower edge has a fringe of green hairpin crochet with red and deep cream tassels.
