Physical Description

A white cotton baby robe trimmed with machine-made Valenciennes lace; embroidered flower sprays on the bodice; lace edging around the hem, neck and cuffs. Lace insertion has been inlaid at the waist and bodice and lace inserts around the skirt are shaped like bows.There are French knots around the hems and insertions. Ribbons (not original) are threaded at the neck and wrists. The back opening is 38cm long with a single button at the waist. The gown is entirely hand sewn.
