Physical Description
A canvas work panel, possibly intended for a pole screen or banner screen. Ombre shaded threads have been used to embroider a pattern of flowers and leaves in satin stitch, stem stitch and French knots on double thread canvas. The background has been worked in black cross stitch producing a latticed effect by alternating cross stitches and spaces. The piece has never been made up.
