Physical Description
Two Romanian sleeve panels, probably from Bukovina, embroidered in counted work, surface embroidery and raised Romanian stitches in red, cream, orange, blue, green and black silks with gold and silver threads on a ground of natural linen. The ground fabric is a single loom width and is probably hand woven. There is a band of embroidery in a geometric counted satin stitch pattern across the shoulder with a band of embroidery running the length of the sleeve.
