Physical Description
A red woollen shawl with multicoloured silk embroidery. The centre panel, about 150cm in length, is in one piece, A section of about 50cm at each end is assembled from eight smaller pieces, some of which are red and some black. The sides and ends are richly embroidered with flowers - some boteh. The two end panels are completely embroidered. The twill weave shawl cloth is from Kashmir and the shawl professionally embroidered in Delhi.
