Physical Description
Two pieces of ribbon embroidery on a green satin ground. The embroidery is in wide red, pink and yellow shaded silk ribbon and green and red silk threads. There are two corner motifs of carnations embroidered in ribbon with stems and leaves in silk. A row of red silk French knots holds the hem in place. This was originally a single piece but was cut in two when the lady who made it ran a restaurant in Clare and needed two pieces for window dressing.
