Physical Description
An Indian man's wedding scarf or 'bokano'. The ground fabric is red cotton with a dark blue/green cotton backing with a narrow yellow cotton piping at the edge. The silk embroidery is in white, black, orange, purple, blue and blue green. There is a border of shisha and interlaced motifs and the piece is embroidered allover with stylized flower motifs. The block printed pattern is exposed in some places where the silk embroidery is worn away.
