Physical Description
Panel of whitework embroidery made in India on soft Indian cotton. Chikan embroidery - satin stitch and areas of pulled fabric with flower motifs above a swag border linked by three-leafed motif with pulled thread technique. The bottom edge is finished with buttonholed scallops. The piece has been embroidered but not made up.
