Physical Description
Child's "natiyo" or hooded hat with pompoms. Black cotton ground fabric with a green synthetic fabric lining. Embellished with fine traditional Khoistani embroidery and further decorated with white glass beads, plastic buttons, a zipper, silver sequins, silver stars and, unusually, two teeth. There are "intricate, geometric cross and darning stitch designs forming ram's heads, diamonds and star-like motifs worked in silk threads of red, green, gold and blue".
