Physical Description
Black cotton Mien wedding headcloth worked in an allover geometric pattern within straight symmetrical borders in bright and dark red, and white cotton thread. There is a central geometric motif. The cloth is fringed in black at each end, with a dark red beaded tassel at each corner. Stitches include cross stitch and half cross stitch. The long sides have an applied length of white and red wool plaited braid each terminating in a tassel.
