Small embroidered cream linen panel depicting a highly stylised deity. Possibly from an ecclesiastical garment especially with the amount of gold used in the metal thread work. Surface stitchery worked in purple, red, green and black silk. Stitches include needleweaving, chain stitch, interlacing stitch and a small mount of cross stitch.
