Physical Description

A contemporary covering for a sleeve or trouser leg. Red, black and white surface stitchery on a black cotton ground fabric. Stitches include chain stitch and back stitch. Curvilinear design of rams horns which are traditional motifs and some red wool pompoms have been applied. This detachable piece has a drawstring with small green and red wool tassels at each end. There is a geometric border of reverse appliqué in red, black and white.
