Physical Description
Mangali bodice fragment with fringing. Heavily worked in red and navy surface stitchery and metal thread embroidery. Stitches include couching, heavy chain and possibly stem stitch and some couched gold braid. Overall geometric design. Cotton and metal thread worked on cotton ground fabric.
