Physical Description
Fringed sash with deep heavily embroidered reversible bands worked on each end. Colour is predominantly rust with some blue, green, gold and brown. Surface stitchery with some metal thread embroidery. Heavy twisted cotton thread on what could be a hand woven cotton ground fabric. Satin stitch and flat stitch. Some stylised flowers and foliage. Fringe is composed of intermittent tasselled threads and plain twisted threads.
