Physical Description
Finished panel comprising a base of black cotton fabric with a border created by the application of small worked pieces of fine embroidery. An embroidered square has been applied in each corner and there are embroidered strips in between the squares. Three circular designs in pink and blue-grey silk have been worked in the centre of the black ground fabric. The applied geometric squares and strips have very fine geometric patterns worked with pink and grey silk. There appear to be three damaged loops at the top of the panel. Counted thread work using cross stitch, chain stitch and straight stitch. Some buttonhole stitch. Possibly a garment panel.
