Lefkara mat. Green-gray perle cotton (French thread) on ecru Irish linen. Geometric repeat pattern of a star alternating with a pulled fabric work grid pattern along all four sides within squared borders of four-sided stitch. Counted satin stitch is used for the body of the stars, darning stitch is used within the grid pattern to create a diamond and there is a needle lace edge.
