Physical Description

Said to be a working man's jacket from the Akha Hill Tribes in Thailand. Sleeveless, front opening, no fastenings, lined. The jacket has been assembled from numerous pieces of recycled embroidery. It appears to be newly constructed. It displays a variety of typical Thai embroidery techniques - mostly applied triangles with some cross and straight stitches. Multicoloured with a strong red cast.
