Physical Description
Crepe de chine apricot petticoat and matching pants with flared legs, all completely hand stitched.(a) The petticoat has a cutwork stylised floral design in the centre immediately below the neckline. The background of the cutwork is a needlemade net. The design is worked in fine buttonhole stitch, padded buttonhole stitch and round eyelets.(b) The pants have a v-shaped yoke at the waist and two side openings fastened with three hooks and three handmade loops. The sides of the pants are embroidered with a similar cutwork stylised floral design.
