Physical Description
Yellow Fuji silk pyjamas with butterflies in needlepainting (long and short stitch) using single strands of silk. On the bodice (a), the butterflies 'fly' up from the hem and also appear either side of the v-shaped neckline. Butterflies are also stitched on the pants (b) on the outside of each leg up 28 cm. All stitching, including the French seams, is done by hand. The neckline, armholes and lower edge of the top are all edged with buttonhole stitched scallops in yellow thread.
