Physical Description
Calico bib apron edged with green bias binding with a pocket on the right edged with the same bias binding, as are the fabric straps. The design is of a young woman dressed as a Columbine in a green suit with orange buttons down the back and orange trims on the white collar and cuffs. Her green pointed hat has three large orange pompoms. She is seated on a purple satin cushion with pleated trim. Her face and hands are hand painted. The design is worked in needlepainting in single silk strands. There is a small area unstitched on one of the collar frills. The pompoms are densely embroidered with French knots, surrounded by bullion knots of varying lengths radiating out.
