Physical Description
Fragment of Ahir embroidery from Dhaneti Village 35km from Bhuj (Gujarat, India). Embroidered on black cotton. Traditional design using herringbone, chain and back stitch. Colours of dark red, orange and deep yellow silk, and incorporating miniature shisha discs. Design includes elephant, birds and flowers.
