Physical Description
(a) (b) A pair of long Chinese embroidered streamers worked on yellow gold satin for the full length with typical Chinese motifs including flowers, butterflies, phoenix, tiger, figures, symbol of the immortals. The embroidered pattern is repeated on both sides of each streamer. The pointed lower end of each is edged with a knotted net with three metal discs and four tassels. Worked in silk, predominantly in Chinese knots and couched gold. May have hung from a woman's hat.
