Physical Description
Nightgown of cream silk embroidered with sprays of lily of the valley and butterflies. Fine pin tucks used instead of gathering and sleeves and neckline enhanced with broad cream tape based lace. Band of similar lace for insertion, used at waistline and all seams rolled and whipped. Hem hemstitched. Original ribbons at shoulders. Fine embroidered monogram on breast - 'Phyllis'.
